What to expect: the process

Book and plan your session!
Contact me via email or through my website to book your session and arrange an over the phone planning consultation. You will also get a questionnaire to fill out that will help me to plan out your session to make sure it's a fun, stress-free experience that you and your pet get the most out of.

Enjoy your session!
All that you and your dog have to do is show up and have fun! Leave all of the posing and directions to me - I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to get your dog's attention and capture the perfect photo.

View your photos and choose your products at your purchasing appointment
3-4 weeks after your session, you will receive a selection of photos in an online gallery for you to choose your favourites from, as well as the way you want to display them.

Your artwork and digitals are here!
Within 2-4 weeks I deliver your artwork and digitals (in your special Smile & Wag USB with keep box) right to you for you to enjoy.
Sessions, Artwork and Pricing
Choose between a session outdoors in nature at a park, beach or urban location around Brisbane, or come to us for a session in our home studio.
Whichever you choose, you will then purchase your artwork and digital images separately after your session in an online ordering appointment.
Artwork options starts at $285.
Our clients typically spend anywhere from $500 to $2000 depending on finishes, sizes, and number of pieces and images.
For seniors (9+ years old) and dogs that are terminally ill, there is NO session fee. Book in and capture those special memories with no payment up front.

Perfect for natural, sunlit photos taken in a beautiful park, beach or urban location of your choosing
1.5 hour photo session at a location within 35km of Brisbane CBD (extra travel fees apply for locations outside this area)
Up to 3 dogs (additional can be added for a small fee)
Online gallery of 25-35 images to choose from
$199 in product credit to spend on your beautiful products to display your photos
$399 Digitals Only Session
Just want an online gallery of digitals with no extra fuss? This simple digital package is for you.
30 minute photo session at a location from the list of available locations
Up to 3 dogs (additional can be added for a small fee)
10 images edited and sent directly to you
Note: with this package, you only receive 10 images and there is no option to view or purchase more from the session.

Hi there, I’m Kate - your local pet photographer here in Brisbane.
I have been an animal lover since I was born, having grown up with cats, horses, dogs, guinea pigs, birds, mice and even frogs!
Now I live with my partner and our 3 dogs - Nala (doberman), Ruby (border collie) and Indi (sharpei x). They’re a strange bunch of dogs and people often ask how we ended up with such different breeds (and how they get along so well!), but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.
In the rare moments when I’m not behind the camera, you can find me taking my dogs to explore new places, going out to eat or catching up with friends and family. But mostly the first one, because taking the dogs out is my absolute favourite thing to do!
